SO.... I don't really have that many pictures of our trip in Utah- which is where we are currently. I have been a bit lazy. It has been a marvelous, and simple thing being here. Every morning we wake up with the kids and throw together something for breakfast, then like a flash they are off! Playing games outside, jumping on the trampoline, entertaining each other with ALL kinds of make believe, and just LOVING every second. I am an observer mostly, to the kids and their own world of "summer fun". Sometimes we "go some where", but mostly we just stay at grandmas. It has been relaxing, slow, fairly repetitive (kids tend to be!:), and happy. I am going to miss it, not only when I go home to Texas, but also when it changes,as soon it will. One of the reasons it has been so fun, is my sister Crystal is off from school this summer and home with her children, who happen to be my kids exact ages. So it is cousin bonding time 101! And we all love it. :) And sadly it will all change when she graduates next April :( But I am totally thrilled for her to finally be finished! :) So this is kind of like the last hurrah!
Utah, is SO different for me now that I live away. There is a certain release, just as Mari said in her post about home. I related to that post so much! I love it here, and a lot of it is family, but not all. I love the mountains! They just MOVE me! Every thing about them! So beautiful, so unique and they keep this summer climate so pleasant! The canyons, the afternoon breezes, the smell of the rocks and trees; just all of it! And I have MISSED them being in flat TX. more than I really thought I would. I also love being around so many of similar faith, I can just FEEL it here- and although the diversity of being away is refreshing, there is a comfort about the similarity that I enjoy. I like the college town feel of Provo/Orem! Its young and has energy, and its nice to go to Costco with six kids and not have anyone say anything!;) I miss the food!! I know lame right!?! But I totally do! Its like comfort food 101 here, and its all so fun and yummy!
Anyway I know this is a boring post, but that is what June has been so far for us- just relaxing fun in Utah. I love being with my family so much, and feel very blessed to be here for so many weeks. Hope you all are having a great summer too. :)

As Crystal but it, its the MECCA of AWESOMENESS! I heart UT very very very MUCH. I like all your reasons, I agree that they are mine as well! And I think this post was far from boring :) I am glad you guys are having such a fun summer together, your kids will remember it for their entire lives! However, those of us who are away appreciate a photo now & again, just so we don't miss out on ALL the fun ;) LOVE YOU!!!
Mari had a great time and I am so glad she got to visit. Of course we missed her. I am glad you got to get together and hope your dad had an awesome 60th!
Love it, I know I still live in Utah, but living in St. george feels like a different state from being up north in Orem. I love it up there. I went to church up there twice this last month and WHERE Were you missy? I would have loved to have seen you. we were up there for two different weeks and left Sunday after Sacrament both times :( Hope you had fun!
