Patrick the Dad

So what's been going on with the daddy of the house? Here it is....

Patrick has been super busy lately. His "newish" job at Advocare keeps him traveling all over, and on the phone ALL THE TIME! He is the Director of Latin American Sales, and gets to take advantage of his trilingual talents. Its crazy how much time it can take up, but I am so proud of all the hard work he puts in, to support our family. He also has just started school! MBA here we come.... He is already excited for when he is "truly" finished with school; AND its only the 2nd week into his 1st semester! Apparently, he is not such a big fan of school work. :( Patrick has been working out like a mad man! He hits the gym for at least 1 hour everyday, and is taking true advantage of all the fabulous products available through Advocare. He has put on quite a bit of muscle and is getting stronger all the time. Patrick spends every free moment he has with me and the kids (ok- well MOSTLY the kids ;). He is such a proud papa! He comes to every swimming lesson (late, because of work, BUT he's there!) and cheers his kids on; is ALWAYS holding miss Lily, trying to beg for kisses from her; he is the bedtime parent and reads to his kids every night he is home; he goes outside every morning before getting ready for work to "play 5 min of catch" with Jackson (J wakes up early and BEGS for this every day!). Patrick & the kids play kickball outside in the evenings, with some of the dad's and kids from the neighborhood(it's so cute! Usually it's Dad's VS Kids). From any and all sports, practices, games, lessons, to jumping on the tramp(with Lily in tow), riding bikes, story time, and watching movies. Patrick is one involved father! I love it, but am sometimes jealous that he gets to do all the "fun" stuff! :) Patrick and I hang out mostly at night after that 7:30 bed time curtain call! We love to just sit together on the couch, to just talk, or whine about how sore we are from our workouts, and watch our beloved Tivo. It is "our" time to just unwind and hang out. Bottom line- Patrick is awesome, he is a great and talented provider, father, and he is my best friend. I love him, and look forward to spending eternity with him!
